The Pancyprian Association of Information Technology Enterprises (CITEA) actively participates in the business mission to India, which is organized by the CCCI under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the technological ecosystems of Cyprus and India.

In his address, the President of CITEA, George Malekkos, stressed that Cyprus is not in India to outsource services to third parties, but to gain access to the know-how of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and transfer it to the members of the Cypriot technological ecosystem.

As he mentioned, CITEA represents more than 100 technology companies in Cyprus and its goal is to create strategic partnerships in the fields of AI, software engineering, cloud and high-tech innovation.

“India has vast experience and expertise in AI and technology. We are here to build bridges of knowledge and cooperation that will give real value to our members and the Cypriot technology ecosystem,” said Mr. Malekkos.

CITEA’s participation in the mission reaffirms the Association’s commitment to enhancing the extroversion of its members and creating new international partnerships focused on AI and innovation.
