In this context, CITEA President Giorgos Malekkos, Vice President Antonia Michael, and Director General Matina Zisiadou welcomed representatives of the Embassy of the People&#8217;s Republic of China in Cyprus.<\/p><p>During the meeting, discussions focused on prospects for strengthening exports of Cypriot technology companies, as well as ways to facilitate their access to the Chinese market.<\/p><p>Particular reference was made to the China International Import Expo, an exhibition exclusively focused on imports into China, which was considered especially interesting as a platform for the expansion of Cypriot companies.<\/p><p>CITEA believes in the potential of Cypriot businesses to expand beyond borders and actively invests in strategic partnerships that can create meaningful opportunities for its members.<\/p><p>This initiative is part of a broader effort to:<\/p><ul><li><p>strengthen members\u2019 international presence<\/p><\/li><li><p>create new commercial bridges<\/p><\/li><li><p>leverage markets with high growth potential<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>CITEA President Giorgos Malekkos stated:<br \/>\u201cUntil now, we mainly knew China as an exporting country. In reality, however, it is a vast market that values professionalism and innovation. This opens up significant prospects for Cypriot technology companies, which can compete effectively and offer specialized solutions.<\/p><p>Our goal is not simply participation in exhibitions or introductory-level contacts, but the creation of meaningful partnerships that will lead to tangible results for our members.
