The Scheme is co-funded by the European Union\u2019s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Republic of Cyprus under the Cohesion Policy in Cyprus.<\/p><p>The total budget for the Scheme during the 2021\u20132027 Programming Period amounts to \u20ac30 million (\u20ac20 million under THALIA and \u20ac10 million under the Recovery and Resilience Plan). The amount allocated for the 3rd call is \u20ac14 million, which includes savings from the first call of the Scheme.<\/p><p>The Scheme aims to encourage investments in digital technology and to enhance its integration within businesses that are established or will be established in areas of Cyprus under the effective control of the Republic of Cyprus.<\/p><p>Eligible to participate in the Scheme are existing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that will implement expenditures related to digital upgrading (including e-commerce), as well as new SMEs whose investment proposal necessarily includes e-commerce and\/or the implementation of advanced digital technologies.<\/p><p>The grant intensity is 50% of the eligible proposal budget, with a maximum grant amount of \u20ac50,000.
